You will conduct rigorous archival and primary-source research, synthesize findings into engaging narratives, and collaborate with educators, curators, and digital historians to produce accessible history content for diverse audiences. Responsibility
- Conduct archival and primary-source research to support scholarly articles, exhibits, and digital content.
- Evaluate sources for provenance, bias, authenticity, and contextual relevance.
- Develop compelling historical narratives for varied audiences across multiple formats.
- Collaborate with historians, educators, curators, and multimedia teams to design engaging programs and curricula.
- Project manage research initiatives, track milestones, and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
- Contribute to grant writing, funding reports, and audience impact assessments.
- Prepare bibliographies, annotated guides, and metadata for digital archives.
Qualification
- Master’s degree or PhD in History or a related field.
- Strong expertise in archival research methods and primary-source analysis.
- Experience with historiography and critical interpretation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Experience with digital history tools, museums, and public history programs is a plus.
- Proficiency in source evaluation, citation standards, and metadata practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
