Prestige Health Systems is seeking a results-driven Hospital Administrator to lead day-to-day operations in a dynamic hospital setting in New York City. This role directs administrative functions, coordinates clinical services, and ensures top-tier patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance and financial performance.
As a strategic partner to executive leadership, you will oversee budgeting, staffing, patient flow, quality initiatives, and facility operations, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
With a commitment to patient safety, you will supervise department leaders, optimize performance metrics, and drive transformative initiatives that enhance care delivery and operational efficiency.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care across departments.
- Develop and manage operating budgets, financial forecasting, and cost-control initiatives while optimizing revenue cycles.
- Lead regulatory compliance programs, accreditation readiness, HIPAA privacy protection, and quality standards.
- Align clinical services with strategic goals through effective governance, performance analytics, and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive process improvements, patient flow optimization, and staffing models to improve access and throughput.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and high staff satisfaction through leadership development and training.
- Manage vendor relations, contract negotiations, and capital project oversight to support hospital growth.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field; Master's degree (MHA/MPH/MBA) preferred.
- 5+ years of hospital administrative leadership experience with a track record of improving operations.
- Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission standards, HIPAA, and healthcare regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, change management, and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- Proven experience implementing process improvements (Lean/Six Sigma is a plus).
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar) and data-driven decision making.
