Job description
Join Servicio Filipino as a Housekeeping Team Leader and drive excellence in cleanliness, guest comfort, and operational efficiency. In this role, you will supervise and mentor a dynamic cleaning team across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, while actively participating in cleaning tasks to model best practices. Youâll partner with Operations and Front Office to ensure rooms are guest-ready on time and that all sanitation standards are met.
As a leader in the housekeeping department, you will schedule shifts, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high quality and productivity. Youâll manage inventory and requisition of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage and timely replenishments. You will conduct inspections of rooms and public areas, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate with engineering for timely repairs.
We value safety and compliance: youâll enforce safety protocols, proper handling of cleaning chemicals, PPE usage, and waste disposal. Youâll champion training and development, onboarding new staff, and building a positive team culture that emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and guest satisfaction. Your focus on service quality will help elevate the guest experience, reduce turnaround times, and support the hotel or facilityâs reputation in Metro Manila.
To succeed, you should possess strong organizational and communication skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English and Filipino is preferred. Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping, hotel, or facilities management is highly desirable.
