As a full-time HVAC Technician, you’ll install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential and commercial settings. You’ll diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, read blueprints and electrical diagrams, and ensure safety and compliance with local codes.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Responsibility
- Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and light commercial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals.
- Perform preventative maintenance to optimize system efficiency and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and mechanical issues; replace faulty components and perform system calibrations.
- Ensure safety protocols, code compliance, and clean, organized job sites.
- Communicate clearly with customers; provide transparent estimates, timelines, and service explanations.
- Document work orders, warranties, and service notes; participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree preferred.
- Valid HVAC Technician license or certification; EPA 608 certification required or willing to obtain.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC repair, installation, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation to job sites.
- Knowledge of refrigerants, electrical systems, ductwork, humidity control, and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills; collaborative team player.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, crawl, and work in confined spaces as required.
