As an HVAC Technician, you will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for residential and commercial clients. You will work with a variety of equipment from boilers and furnaces to rooftop units and VRF systems.
Responsibility
- Install, start up, and commission HVAC systems per manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical faults.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and system tune-ups.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Test for leaks, ensure appropriate refrigerant handling, and maintain safety standards.
- Provide accurate estimates and communicate with customers on service needs.
- Document work orders, parts used, and time spent in our maintenance software.
- Collaborate with project teams and supervisors to deliver quality workmanship.
Qualification
- 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential or commercial settings.
- EPA 608 certification or higher for refrigerants; knowledge of 410A and R-22 as applicable.
- Journeyman or equivalent license where required by state.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to pass background check.
- Willingness to work on-call, overtime, and travel to job sites as needed.
