As part of our team, you’ll diagnose issues, execute high-quality repairs, and participate in preventive maintenance programs to maximize system performance and energy efficiency.
Responsibility
- Install, service, and repair HVAC equipment including furnaces, heat pumps, condensers, controls, and rooftop units.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and industry-standard testing methods.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and system assessments to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan work and order parts.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Document work orders, parts used, and customer interactions accurately in our CRM.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
- Collaborate with dispatch and vendors to secure parts and schedule service windows.
Qualification
- EPA 608 Certification (Type I and II required; Type III or universal preferred).
- Valid HVAC contractor license as required by state and locale.
- Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential and light commercial environments.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, refrigeration cycles, ductwork, brazing, and start-up procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and customer service mindset.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to pass background check.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, crawl into tight spaces, and work in varying climates and heights.
