As an Income Audit Clerk, you will systematically review daily income reports, compare system postings with cash and POS receipts, and investigate discrepancies to ensure revenue is correctly recorded and securely accounted for. You will collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to maintain robust internal controls, support month-end close processes, and prepare audit-ready summaries for management. Your meticulous data analysis will help detect revenue leakage, reduce errors, and support accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include reconciling Opera and Micros revenue data, generating exception reports, and documenting variances with clear explanations. You will also assist in improving revenue recognition processes and maintaining comprehensive documentation for audits. Responsibility
- Perform daily income audits of Opera and Micros revenue reports to ensure accuracy and proper fault accounting.
- Reconciling sales postings and cash receipts; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and improve internal controls around revenue recognition and reporting.
- Prepare detailed income audit summaries and exception reports for management review.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to implement process improvements in revenue processes.
- Assist with month-end close, revenue account reconciliations, and documentation.
- Monitor for revenue leakage and unusual transactions; escalate findings per policy.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in revenue audit, reconciliation, or financial control; hospitality or retail experience a plus.
- Proficiency with Opera and Micros POS systems; strong knowledge of revenue reporting and POS data.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration, with ability to work cross-functionally.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia preferred; ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
