Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for accuracy in healthcare documentation? Sales Rain BPO Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Coding Appeals Specialist to join our team in Manila City, Metro Manila.
In this role, you will review inpatient medical records to validate principal diagnosis, secondary diagnoses (CC/MCC), procedures, and DRG assignments.
Responsibility
- Review inpatient medical records for accuracy and compliance
- Analyze data to ensure proper coding and DRG assignments
- Investigate and resolve coding discrepancies
- Communicate with healthcare providers regarding coding queries
- Participate in coding appeals processes to ensure accurate reimbursements
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, RHIT)
- 2+ years of experience in inpatient coding and appeals
- Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
