This internship places you in a dynamic studio in Singapore, where you'll contribute to real projects from concept to client presentation. You will learn under experienced designers who guide you through every phase of the design process, helping you build a strong portfolio and a professional network.
As an Interior Design Intern, you will assist with concept development, space planning, material selection, and client communications. You will participate in design reviews, prepare mood boards and presentation drawings, refine plans, and help translate ideas into sketches, elevations, and 3D visuals. This role emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration, and professional growth in a supportive studio environment.

Responsibility
- Assist senior designers with concept development, schematic sketches, and presentation drawings
- Create mood boards, color palettes, materials spec sheets and finish boards
- Develop floor plans, space planning, layout revisions, and annotated drawings
- Produce 3D visuals and renderings using SketchUp, AutoCAD, or other software
- Assist with sourcing furniture, textiles, finishes, fixtures, and vendor coordination
- Support project documentation, site measurements, and site visit coordination
- Prepare client-ready presentations and assist with meetings
Qualification
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar 3D software; familiarity with Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus
- Strong drawing, sketching, and visual communication skills
- Understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, and basic building codes
- Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative mindset
- Portfolio or design work demonstrating creative thinking
- Ability to commit to the internship duration and work in Singapore
