Join Kawan Lama as an Inventory Control Specialist focused on SAP based inventory management. In this role you will ensure accurate stock levels, timely data entry, and seamless collaboration across procurement, warehouse, and production teams. You will leverage SAP ERP to manage goods receipt, put away, stock movements, and cycle counts, driving operational excellence in our Pontianak facility. This is a hands on position that blends data analysis with practical warehouse activities to improve stock accuracy and support critical supply chain operations.
As part of our manufacturing and logistics operations, you will optimize inventory turns, minimize discrepancies, and enhance data integrity across all inventory movement processes. You will work with cross functional teams to align stock levels with production schedules, forecast demand, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable actions that benefit the broader business.

Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels using SAP ERP across all warehouse locations.
- Perform regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Manage goods receipt, put-away, picking, and cycle counting workflows to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to optimize inventory accuracy and availability.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to support planning, forecasting, and decision making.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to optimize warehouse layout and standard operating procedures.
- Support internal audits and participate in quarterly inventory audits as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in inventory control and working with SAP based systems (SAP MM/WM or similar modules).
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse management processes and ERP workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work across functions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced manufacturing and logistics environment.
