As an Investment Analyst at Aurora Capital Partners, you will support deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio analytics across multiple sectors.
Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling including LBO, DCF, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential investments.
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and evaluating investment opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Prepare investment memorandums and present findings to senior investment committee.
- Perform due diligence coordination with internal teams and external advisors.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and strategic fit to inform investment decisions.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and assist in value creation initiatives.
- Support risk assessment, compliance, and governance processes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; CFA or progress toward CFA preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or equity research.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (LBO, DCF, comps).
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data tools; knowledge of SQL/Python a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to distill complex data into clear recommendations.
- Detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with team orientation and strong ethical standards.
