Summit Ridge Capital is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join our New York office. You will work directly with senior partners to source, evaluate, and execute investments across private equity and credit strategies. As an Analyst, you will contribute to all stages of the investment lifecycle, from screening opportunities to supporting due diligence and portfolio monitoring. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to internal stakeholders.

Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate prospective investments, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analyses.
  • Source and screen investment opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitive dynamics, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with deal teams on due diligence, data room management, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain investment memos and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support portfolio monitoring, risk assessment, and quarterly reporting.
  • Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to inform decision-making.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA candidate preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or investment analysis.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps); proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Bloomberg, FactSet, CapIQ) and basic SQL/Python is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to clearly convey complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, rigorous work ethic, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive approach and strong integrity and discretion.
