Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling (DCF, comparable company analysis, and scenario planning) to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and financial performance to inform portfolio construction.
- Perform due diligence on potential investments, including quality of earnings, synergies, and risk assessment.
- Prepare investment memos, valuation workups, and presentation materials for internal committees and clients.
- Support portfolio monitoring by tracking performance metrics and risk indicators.
- Collaborate with research, trading, and operations teams to drive execution and reporting.
- Assist in fundraising efforts by contributing to materials for limited partners and investors.
- Maintain robust data integrity and contribute to process improvements in the investment workflow.
Qualification
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA level I or progress strongly preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or asset management.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and Excel skills; familiarity with Python, SQL, or R is a plus.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting, and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with collaboration skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency with market data platforms (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet) is desirable.
