Job description

NorthBridge Capital Partners is a leading investment firm dedicated to identifying high-potential opportunities across private markets and public equities. We seek a motivated Investment Analyst to join our NYC team and contribute to due diligence, financial modeling, and portfolio analytics.

In this role you will partner with senior investment professionals to source opportunities, perform rigorous financial analysis, build robust models, and prepare investment memos that drive decision-making.

Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO where applicable) to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Perform comprehensive company and industry research, including competitive landscape, regulatory considerations, and macro trends.
  • Conduct due diligence analyses, including financial statement quality assessment, working capital, and scenario testing.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal committees and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in portfolio monitoring, track key performance indicators, and produce quarterly reporting materials.
  • Collaborate with deal teams on valuation, risk assessment, and exit strategies.
  • Support fundraising efforts through market analysis and investor materials when needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial databases and ensure data integrity across analyses.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA candidate preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, research, private equity, or asset management.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions).
  • Proficiency in Excel (Advanced), occasional SQL and Python for data analysis.
  • Experience with data services (Bloomberg, FactSet) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex concepts for investment memos.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated team collaboration and ability to manage multiple priorities.
