Responsibility
- Develop and maintain financial models (DCF, comps, sensitivity analyses) to support investment decisions.
- Conduct deep fundamental research on target companies and industries to identify compelling opportunities.
- Assist in due diligence and structuring of potential investments in public equities and select private opportunities.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and benchmarks; prepare periodic updates for senior team.
- Prepare investment theses and present findings to the Investment Committee.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and research analysts to refine investment ideas and execution plans.
- Build dashboards and reports using Excel, SQL, or Python to track key drivers and scenarios.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA level II+ preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, comps, sensitivity analyses) and Excel; Python/R a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, valuation methodologies, and investment concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- High attention to detail, strong quantitative skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States; willingness to relocate to New York City if not local.
