Responsibility
- Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to support investment decisions and portfolio valuation.
- Conduct company and industry analyses, including diligence on revenue, margins, capital structure, and cash flow.
- Perform due diligence on potential investments, prepare investment memos, and present findings to the investment committee.
- Monitor portfolio performance, track KPIs, and coordinate with risk and compliance teams.
- Assist in deal execution, including term sheet reviews, sourcing, and coordination with legal, tax, and finance functions.
- Create dashboards and reports using Excel and data visualization tools to inform stakeholders.
- Stay current on market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments impacting the portfolio.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA candidate/designation preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, or asset management.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions).
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex analyses clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
