As an Investment Analyst at Aurora Capital Partners, you will collaborate with portfolio managers and research teams to evaluate opportunities across public equities, fixed income, and alternative assets. You will help build and maintain financial models, perform scenario analysis, and contribute to investment memos and due diligence.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to value securities and forecast performance
- Conduct equity and credit research, including fundamental analysis and market monitoring
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and due diligence materials for investment committees
- Support portfolio managers in trade execution, risk assessment, and performance attribution
- Monitor macroeconomic trends and industry developments to identify actionable ideas
- Collaborate with risk, operations, and compliance teams to ensure governance and accuracy
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field; CFA candidate or charter preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in investment analytics, equity research, or asset management
- Strong financial modeling skills (DCF, comps, LBO, scenario analysis) and advanced Excel
- Proficiency in data tools (SQL, Python or R) and Bloomberg/Reuters terminals
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex ideas clearly
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and ability to work under tight deadlines
