Responsibility

  • Conduct in-depth equity research across assigned sectors, building robust financial models to forecast earnings, cash flows, and valuation outcomes.
  • Develop investment theses and present findings to the investment committee with clear, data-driven rationale.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models (DCF, comparable company analysis, sensitivity analyses) and scenario testing.
  • Monitor portfolio holdings and market events, identifying risks and opportunities to adjust strategy.
  • Prepare concise investment memos, dashboards, and performance reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Source and verify data using Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, and other industry tools.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and research analysts to synthesize research into actionable ideas.
  • Participate in due diligence for potential investments and assist in deal execution when required.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comps, scenario analysis).
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, and Capital IQ; SQL or Python is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Authorized to work in the United States; CFA progress or designation is preferred.
