At Aurora Capital Partners, we invest in high-growth software and technology-enabled services companies. We’re seeking an ambitious Investment Analyst to join our New York City team. You will partner with senior colleagues to evaluate opportunities, build models, and help shape the investment strategy that powers our portfolio companies. Responsibility
- Develop detailed financial models (LBOs, DCF, comps) to assess investment opportunities and value creation potential.
- Support due diligence efforts, including market research, competitive analysis, and operational reviews.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal committees and external partners.
- Monitor and report on portfolio company performance, including quarterly dashboards and KPI tracking.
- Assist with deal sourcing, screening, and initial evaluation of prospective investments.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to complete transactions and close investments.
- Stay informed on market trends and technology sectors relevant to our portfolio.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA candidate a plus.
- 1-4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or investment analysis.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and Excel skills; familiarity with Python or SQL is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Interest in growth equity and software/tech-enabled services sectors; willingness to work in NYC.
