NovaEdge Consulting is seeking a results-driven IT Consultant to join our growing advisory team in San Francisco. You will partner with executives and technical teams to define, design, and deliver technology initiatives that align with business strategy. This client-facing role blends strategic thinking, architecture, and hands-on execution across cloud, data, security, and application modernization. You will work with Fortune 500 and fast-growing startups to drive measurable outcomes and sustained value.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to craft compelling roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and architect pragmatic solutions that balance speed, risk, and cost. A high degree of curiosity, problem solving, and client empathy is essential to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Responsibility
- Lead IT strategy engagements and technology roadmaps for diverse clients, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Assess current architectures, systems, and processes; design modern, scalable solutions.
- Plan and execute cloud migrations, data analytics initiatives, and security enhancements.
- Facilitate workshops, capture requirements, and translate stakeholder input into actionable artifacts.
- Evaluate vendors, manage RFPs, and guide procurement to optimize cost and value.
- Deliver client-ready artifacts including business cases, ROI analyses, and implementation plans.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain robust project governance, risk management, and clear communication with executives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years in IT consulting, solutions architecture, or a similar advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and migration/modernization projects.
- Experience with IT strategy, governance, enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable in client-facing environments.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable roadmaps.
- Willingness to travel up to 20-30% as client engagements require.
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP, PMP, or TOGAF) are a plus.
