Job description

Embark on a challenging DevOps-focused career with Mindteck as an IT Consultant in Kuala Lumpur. This role blends hands-on DevOps engineering with strategic delivery for Wealth Management operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions that accelerate delivery and elevate client outcomes. Leverage Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Concourse/Jenkins, and modern Agile practices to drive continuous improvement, faster release cycles, and robust operational excellence.

As a seasoned DevOps professional, you will own end-to-end automation, infrastructure as code, and performance monitoring while mentoring peers and shaping engineering standards across projects. You will work across hybrid environments (cloud and on-prem), champion containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and ensure compliance with security and data privacy requirements in a regulated financial domain. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting and brings excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.

Join a dynamic team that values innovation, quality, and collaboration. This is your opportunity to influence critical wealth management workflows, optimize deployment pipelines, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibility

  • Lead DevOps practices across the project lifecycle by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using PCF, Jenkins, and Concourse.
  • Collaborate with wealth management teams to translate business needs into scalable software solutions and infrastructure.
  • Design and implement cloud-native architectures, containerization with Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Automate deployments, monitoring, and incident response to improve reliability and reduce mean time to recovery.
  • Enforce security, compliance, and data privacy in cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Mentor engineers, participate in agile ceremonies, and contribute to engineering best practices.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven DevOps experience in financial services or wealth management environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or modern cloud platforms (PCF, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Strong experience with Jenkins, Concourse, and other CI/CD tools.
  • Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
