As a Senior IT Consulting Specialist, you will lead advisory engagements, collaborate with executive sponsors, and drive delivery across cloud, data, security, and application modernization initiatives. This client-facing role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver sustainable outcomes.
What you'll do is shape compelling roadmaps, translate business goals into technology strategies, and guide complex programs from discovery through execution. You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to our growing practice.
Responsibility
- Lead client engagements to define IT strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes aligned with business goals.
- Assess current-state architectures, perform gap analyses, and design target-state solutions across cloud, data, security, and integration.
- Advise on cloud migrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP), modernization efforts, and operating model improvements.
- Develop business and technical requirements, create design artifacts, and support vendor selection and contract negotiations.
- Create detailed delivery plans, governance structures, risk assessments, and stakeholder communication plans.
- Collaborate with security, privacy, IT operations, and line-of-business leaders to ensure compliant, resilient solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior consultants, contribute to practice development, and share industry insights.
- Drive revenue opportunities by identifying additional value across engagements and participating in pre-sales activities.
Qualification
- Minimum 6 years of IT consulting or equivalent experience delivering technology strategy and transformation programs.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and modern architectures (data, integration, microservices).
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to translate business needs into technical design and roadmaps.
- Excellent client relationship management, presentation, and facilitation skills; comfortable presenting to C-suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
- Professional certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, TOGAF, PMP, or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to serve clients.
