Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end IT projects within the banking sector, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and business analysts, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage resource allocation, project budgets, and third-party vendor relationships.
- Track and report project progress to senior leadership and stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary.
- Oversee testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance processes to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote best practices in IT project management.
- Support post-implementation reviews and ensure seamless transition to operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the banking, fintech, or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects using project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience overseeing budget, timelines, and project documentation.
- Ability to manage vendors and third-party partners.
- Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum) are highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of banking operations, IT security, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
