Job description

Join Private Advertiser as an IT Support Engineer and become the frontline of technical excellence across our Singapore-based offices. This role offers hands-on, customer-focused IT support across all departments, delivering timely troubleshooting and seamless user experiences to keep business operations running smoothly. You’ll manage day-to-day IT tasks, from hardware and software installations to account provisioning and system maintenance, across our Central Region locations and remote users.

As part of a small but dynamic IT team, you will support end-user requests, manage network connectivity, and ensure the reliability of core infrastructure. You will partner with department staff to understand needs, resolve incidents, and implement improvements that boost productivity, security, and efficiency. This position also involves collaborating with vendors, assisting with backups and disaster recovery, and contributing to a growing knowledge base to empower our users. We value initiative, clear communication, and a service-oriented mindset that helps every user succeed. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your IT career in a fast-paced environment with real impact on daily operations.

We offer a collaborative culture, ongoing training, and exposure to enterprise-grade IT environments. You will gain hands-on experience across Windows and Mac ecosystems, Active Directory, cloud services (Office 365), and basic IT security practices, with opportunities to pursue relevant certifications and advance your career.

Responsibility

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues, providing timely desktop, software, and hardware support to all employees.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Windows, macOS, email, VPN, printers, and network connectivity.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, onboarding/offboarding, and security policies in Active Directory and related systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain endpoint devices, software applications, and peripheral equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, perform routine maintenance, backups, and patch management.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve complex problems and coordinate hardware replacements.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles and user guides to improve self-service support and reduce incident volume.
  • Assist with IT project initiatives, and support business continuity and disaster recovery testing.

Qualification

  • 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems; basic Linux knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365/Exchange, and standard ITIL-based incident management.
  • Strong networking fundamentals (VPN, DNS, DHCP) and printer/scanner support.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL Foundation are desirable.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
