Join Private Advertiser, a dynamic employer in Kuala Lumpur, as an IT Support Technician II. In this full-time role, you will deliver advanced technical support for Level 1–2 incidents raised by staff, ensuring prompt and accurate resolutions in line with service-level agreements.

As a critical first point of contact for end users, you will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, while providing exceptional customer service. You will manage user accounts, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and participate in ITSM lifecycle including ticketing, documentation, and asset management.

This position requires a solid foundation in Windows and macOS environments, productivity applications (Microsoft 365), and basic networking concepts such as VPN and printers. You will work with cross-functional teams, escalate complex problems to Level 3 when necessary, and contribute to a secure, efficient IT environment. Responsibility

  • Provide Level 1–2 technical support for end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and password resets; onboard/offboard employees in Active Directory and related tools.
  • Log, track, and manage incidents using the IT service management ITSM system; meet defined SLAs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware, printers, and peripherals; support mobile devices.
  • Support Windows and macOS environments, productivity suites Microsoft 365, email, and collaboration tools.
  • Assist with software deployment, patching, and asset management; keep an up-to-date IT inventory.
  • Provide hands-on support for remote access, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to Level 3 with clear documentation and a thorough handover.

Qualification

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS, Office 365, and common business applications.
  • Basic networking skills including VPN, DHCP, DNS, and wireless connectivity.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory/Azure AD, device imaging, and IT asset management.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligibility to work in Malaysia and proximity to Kuala Lumpur for on-site support.
