Private Advertiser is seeking a motivated Junior Certified Public Accountant to join our accounting team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain daily, monthly, and annual accounting records including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports.
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable, vendor payment processing, and reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts; identify and explain variances.
- Assist with tax compliance and regulatory filings; liaise with auditors as needed.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial data analysis for management decision making.
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance with GAAP.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA candidate or pursuing CPA is a plus.
- 0-2 years of accounting experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team.
- Good communication skills and professionalism in handling confidential information.
