Responsibility
- Support health screening operations by managing client flow, scheduling, and documentation to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Collect specimens for basic lab tests and ensure proper labeling and handling under supervision.
- Prepare and process samples according to SOPs; maintain chain of custody and traceability.
- Measure vital signs and record results in electronic health records; ensure accuracy and privacy.
- Assist clinicians in health education, counseling, and sharing test results with patients in a clear, empathetic manner.
- Maintain strict infection control, clean and disinfect work areas, and ensure equipment is ready for use.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, schedule follow-ups, and protect patient confidentiality.
Qualification
- Diploma or certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control, and quality processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain procedures clearly to clients.
- Customer-service oriented with ability to handle diverse clients; bilingual Malay/English preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and data entry skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; willingness to learn and adapt.
- Team player with a positive attitude; reliable and punctual.
