Responsibility
- Assist in planning and performing audit engagements from fieldwork to reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, working papers, and audit evidence.
- Conduct substantive tests and analytical procedures to identify financial risks.
- Assist in tax compliance for individuals and small to mid-sized enterprises, including filing and planning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Malaysian accounting and tax regulations.
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members; support senior staff in project delivery.
- Support training and mentorship of junior staff; contribute to teamwork and quality control.
- Support data entry, reconciliation, and documentation for audit files.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; accounting/finance graduates preferred.
- Strong numeric and analytical skills; attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and common accounting software; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and a structured work approach in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in audit and tax services; fresh graduates welcome; open to junior and senior candidates.
- Knowledge of Malaysian taxation and reporting requirements is a plus.
