StaffKing Pte Ltd is hiring a Kitchen Assistant / Cook for our Western Cafe located in Tanglin Mall, Singapore. The role is based on a 6-day work week with shifts of approximately 7.5 hours, designed to support peak service periods from morning to evening (8:00 am to 9:00 pm). Responsibility

  • Assist in daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and cooking support for Western cafe dishes
  • Support chefs with food preparation, portion control and plating to ensure consistent presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sanitation and equipment safety
  • Handle stock checks, receiving deliveries, inventory rotation and restocking as needed
  • Assist with dishwashing, waste management and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to deliver timely and high-quality meals
  • Adhere to food safety standards and temperature controls to minimize waste and ensure guest satisfaction

Qualification

  • Prior experience as a kitchen assistant or cook in a Western cafe or similar kitchen
