Key responsibilities include contributing to smooth restaurant operations, providing excellent customer service, and helping to upsell promotions to enhance guest experiences and sales. You will also support opening and closing procedures, assist with cash handling, stock checks, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibility
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service at the counter and/or drive-thru, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with food preparation and assembly, ensuring items meet McDonald’s quality and presentation standards.
- Operate the cash register and POS system, handling payments with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining room, kitchen, and back-of-house areas.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and brand guidelines, including proper handling of ingredients and allergen awareness.
- Support daily opening and closing procedures, restocking, and documenting inventory as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet service targets during peak times and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Promote promotions and upsell additional items to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales.
Qualification
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-facing mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math and cash handling skills with attention to accuracy
- Strong teamwork attitude and reliability; positive and energetic demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards; willingness to learn and follow procedures.
