We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to own end-to-end machine learning projects, coach a growing team, and collaborate with product and engineering to scale impact.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.
- Develop scalable ML models and data pipelines, ensuring reliability and interpretability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Experiment design, hypothesis testing, AB testing, and rigorous evaluation of model performance.
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists, and contribute to hiring and onboarding efforts.
- Communicate results and strategic implications to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure model governance, compliance, and ethical AI considerations across products.
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 9+ years of data science or ML engineering experience; 4+ years in leadership or lead data scientist role.
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow); strong SQL and data tooling.
- Experience deploying models to production in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with NLP or computer vision is a plus; familiarity with MLOps and CI/CD for ML.
- Proven portfolio of projects and publications or a strong open-source track record.
