Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and productionize machine learning models for forecasting, segmentation, and anomaly detection at scale.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to define problems, identify data sources, and establish success metrics.
  • Build robust data pipelines and MLOps workflows to deploy models with monitoring and governance.
  • Conduct rigorous experimentation (A/B tests) and statistical analyses to validate model impact.
  • Communicate results with non-technical stakeholders through clear data storytelling and dashboards.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to code reviews, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with advances in ML/AI and translate novel techniques into practical business value.

Qualification

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; equivalent industry experience considered.
  • 5+ years of hands-on data science experience, including deploying ML models in production.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL; hands-on experience with ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow) and data tooling.
  • Strong command of statistics, experimental design, AB testing, and causal inference.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps tooling (model monitoring, versioning, CI/CD).
  • Experience in data visualization and storytelling using tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
