Join Apex AI Labs, a prominent data science and AI company based in Seattle. We blend research with product to deliver AI powered solutions for clients across industries. We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead modeling efforts, shape product direction, and mentor a growing team of analysts and engineers.
In this role you will translate complex data into actionable insights, design robust experiments, and deploy scalable ML models that impact business outcomes. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to build end to end data products that delight customers while adhering to best practices for data governance, reproducibility, and ethics.
Responsibility
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models that solve real business problems
- Partner with product and engineering to define data driven roadmaps and success metrics
- Architect and optimize data pipelines, feature stores, and model monitoring systems
- Perform rigorous experimentation and statistical analysis to validate hypotheses
- Interpret model outputs for non technical stakeholders and drive data informed decisions
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists and analysts
- Contribute to research, publications, and knowledge sharing within the team
Qualification
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field; PhD preferred
- At least 3 years of hands on data science and ML experience
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with scikit learn pandas numpy
- Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong knowledge of statistics, experimental design, and A/B testing
- Experience deploying models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and ML Ops basics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain complex concepts to nontechnical audiences
