We are seeking a results-driven Lead Horticulturist to oversee cultivation programs, manage greenhouse operations, and elevate plant health across our production lines. As a key member of our horticulture team, you will drive propagation, crop scheduling, and quality control while mentoring staff and collaborating with sales and landscape teams to meet demand and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibility
- Oversee day to day greenhouse operations including climate control, irrigation management, pruning, sanitation, and workflow planning.
- Develop and execute propagation programs (seed, cuttings, grafts) to meet production targets and seasonal demands.
- Monitor plant health, diagnose disorders, and implement integrated pest management and preventive care.
- Manage inventory, labeling, and traceability of plant stock; coordinate with nursery and landscape teams.
- Supervise and train a small horticulture team; assign tasks, conduct performance feedback, and ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and design teams to forecast demand and optimize cultivation schedules.
- Implement sustainable cultivation practices to reduce resource use and improve yields; track KPIs and report outcomes.
- Ensure quality standards for finished plants and provide recommendations to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of greenhouse horticulture experience; propagation experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plant pathology, pests, and integrated pest management.
- Experience with climate control systems, irrigation/fertigation, and basic hydroponic systems is a plus.
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities; excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail oriented with strong record keeping, inventory management, and data driven decision making.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend shifts during peak seasons.
