We are seeking a seasoned Lead Makeup Artist who can craft high-end looks, consult with clients, and lead creativity on studio shoots and on-location productions.
As a key member of our artistry team, you’ll inspire confidence in clients, mentor junior artists, and help elevate our brand through flawless application and exceptional service.
Responsibility
- Lead client consultations to define makeup concepts, color palettes, and skincare considerations.
- Design and apply high-end makeup looks for weddings, editorials, fashion campaigns, and red-carpet events.
- On-set makeup application and quick touch-ups to maintain flawless results under time constraints.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and directors to realize creative visions.
- Mentor and supervise junior artists; ensure sanitation and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain, organize, and restock kit; manage product inventory and tool hygiene.
- Cultivate lasting client relationships, drive repeat bookings, and advocate for the LuxeMake brand.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of professional makeup artistry experience across bridal, editorial, and fashion sectors.
- Proficiency with high-end brands and professional tools; strong knowledge of color theory and skincare.
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility across skin tones and looks.
- Excellent communication, client service, and on-set collaboration skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and location shoots.
- Sanitation certification and knowledge of safety protocols; familiarity with airbrush makeup is a plus.
- Valid work authorization in the United States and willingness to travel for assignments.
