Join the Luxe Beauty Collective, a premium makeup studio in Los Angeles, specializing in bridal, celebrity, and editorial looks. We seek a creative, client-focused Lead Makeup Artist to lead high-end applications, mentor junior artists, and collaborate with photographers and stylists.

Responsibility
- Consult with clients to determine preferred looks and color palettes, and create tailored makeup plans for events and shoots.
- Execute flawless makeup applications for bridal, red-carpet, and editorial assignments with precision and artistry.
- Lead and support junior artists on set, providing guidance on technique, sanitation, and workflow.
- Maintain a premium makeup kit, manage inventory, and ensure products are clean and organized.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and producers to achieve cohesive visuals and on-brand looks.
- Stay current with industry trends, textures, and tools; participate in trials and look development sessions.
- Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards across all services and client interactions.
Qualification
- 2+ years of professional makeup artistry experience with a strong portfolio across bridal, editorial, and red-carpet looks.
- Pro makeup kit and ability to work across skin tones and diverse client needs; proficiency with airbrush makeup is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and client-facing professionalism.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Solid understanding of sanitation, hygiene, and product safety; knowledge of California beauty regulations preferred.
- Familiarity with high-end brands (MAC, NARS, Chanel, etc.) and color theory; quick problem-solving on set.
- Bonus: cosmetology license or professional makeup certification.
