Responsibility
- Lead on makeup services for photo shoots, weddings, events, and editorial sessions, ensuring flawless complexion, longevity, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and clients to create cohesive looks aligned with concept and lighting.
- Mentor and coach junior artists; share techniques and maintain high professional standards.
- Manage makeup kit organization, hygiene practices, sanitation, and inventory control.
- Conduct client consultations, skin analysis, color matching, and product recommendations.
- Oversee on-set workflow, timing, and quick adjustments to accommodate changing schedules.
- Stay current with trends, product launches, and industry certifications; contribute to periodic content for marketing and social media.
- Uphold brand standards and ensure safety, privacy, and professionalism on set.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of professional makeup artistry experience in fashion, bridal, or editorial.
- Proficient with a broad range of makeup techniques: airbrush, contouring, color theory, and long-wear formulas.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility and storytelling across looks.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings; on-set experience required.
- Excellent communication, client service, and ability to interpret client vision.
- Sanitation and safety certification; knowledge of hygiene protocols and product safety.
- Team leadership experience; ability to mentor junior artists.
- Proficient in English; basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus in LA context.
