Join Private Advertiser as the Lead of Finance, overseeing the financial operations for a prominent Australian client from our hybrid work environment in Makati. This is a strategic, metrics-driven role designed for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in cross-border collaboration and process optimization. You will lead a small but mighty finance team, partner with stakeholders across accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, and compliance, and help us scale financial operations while maintaining strict controls and compliance.

What you’ll do daily includes overseeing month-end close, preparing timely financial statements, leading budgeting and quarterly forecasts, managing cashflow and working capital, and ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulatory requirements. You will also mentor and develop the finance team, lead audits, and implement process improvements and internal controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibility
- Lead month-end close for the Australian client portfolio, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and present financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles, linking plans to operations and strategic goals.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities with a strong emphasis on internal controls.
- Coordinate with tax, compliance, and external auditors; support audits and regulatory filings.
- Mentor and coach junior finance staff; build a high-performing, collaborative team.
- Identify and drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements across finance processes.
- Ensure compliance with local Philippine requirements and Australian client standards; monitor changes in accounting guidance and update policies accordingly.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with leadership exposure and multinational client experience.
- Strong knowledge of PFRS and IFRS; experience with consolidated reporting for international clients.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel; data analytics skills a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain finance talent; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-management; familiarity with tax compliance in the Philippines and cross-border considerations.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, globally distributed team and manage competing priorities.
