In this full-time role, you will design, deliver, and continually refine courses; mentor students; participate in curriculum development; and collaborate with colleagues on scholarly activities and program enhancement. A commitment to inclusive teaching and student success is essential.
Responsibility
- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and labs in assigned courses to undergraduate and/or graduate students.
- Design, update, and align course syllabi, readings, assignments, and assessments with program outcomes.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and exams to support student learning and progression.
- Develop inclusive teaching strategies and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, program improvement, and scholarly activities.
- Engage in scholarly activity, including research, publication, or professional practice relevant to the discipline.
- Contribute to student advising, office hours, and academic planning to support student success.
- Participate in assessment, accreditation, and department meetings as required.
Qualification
- Terminal degree in the relevant discipline (PhD, EdD, or equivalent professional credential).
- Proven teaching experience at college or university level with ability to teach diverse student populations.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in curriculum design, course development, and assessment planning.
- Familiarity with instructional technologies and online/hybrid teaching modalities.
- Commitment to inclusive pedagogy, equity, and supporting student success.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators; strong organizational skills.
- Evidence of scholarly activity or professional practice in the field is preferred.
