Horizon Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in New York City. Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for individuals, couples, and groups.
- Provide psychotherapy (CBT, psychodynamic, ACT, DBT) and crisis intervention as appropriate.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other clinicians to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical notes and documentation in electronic health records.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans; provide feedback to clients and families as appropriate.
- Participate in supervision, case conferences, and ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to program evaluation, research initiatives, and quality improvement projects.
Qualification
- Doctoral or Master's degree in psychology from an accredited program; valid licensure in New York State as a psychologist (PhD/PsyD).
- Current NY license and eligibility for hospital/private practice settings.
- Minimum 2–4 years of post-licensure clinical experience (preferably in hospital, clinic, or private practice).
- Strong assessment skills; neuropsychological testing experience is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT, IPT, etc.).
- Excellent communication, empathy, and collaborative teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality; proficiency with EHR systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive cases with professionalism and cultural humility.
