MetroMind Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed psychologist to join our expanding clinical team in New York City. This full-time position offers a supportive, interdisciplinary environment with a focus on evidence-based care and client-centered practice.
As a Licensed Psychologist, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver psychotherapy across a diverse client base. You will collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and researchers to advance outcomes and innovate care delivery.

Responsibility
- Conduct diagnostic interviews and comprehensive psychological assessments
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and social workers
- Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EMR system
- Engage in case formulation, outcome measurement, and quality assurance
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
- Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in New York
- Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in outpatient or hospital settings
- Proficiency with psychological testing and assessment tools (eg, MMPI-2, WAIS)
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, psychodynamic approaches)
- Excellent communication, ethical practice, and cultural humility
- Experience with electronic medical records and HIPAA compliance
- Spanish-English bilingual abilities considered a plus
