As a Senior Psychologist, you will provide expert psychological assessment, evidence-based intervention, and consultative support to individuals across the lifespan. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, formulating case conceptualizations, and developing personalized treatment plans with measurable outcomes. You will apply established modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches, tailoring care to diverse patient populations and cultural contexts.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and allied health professionals to coordinate person-centered care. You will contribute to program development, supervise junior clinicians, and engage in ongoing professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and research activities. Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic interviews, including cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT), tailored to patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, timelines, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate integrated care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
- Document clinical activities, maintain high-quality notes, and ensure compliance with privacy and ethical standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior psychologists and mental health professionals; contribute to teaching and training activities.
- Contribute to program development, research initiatives, quality improvement projects, and service evaluation.
Qualification
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology (clinical psychology preferred) and eligible for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) or other recognized regulatory body.
- 5+ years of clinical psychology experience, preferably within a hospital or public healthcare setting.
- Proficient in psychometric testing and neuropsychological assessments; strong diagnostic capabilities.
- Expertise in evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT) with demonstrated outcomes measurement.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven ability to manage complex cases, crisis intervention, and risk assessment with a focus on patient safety.
