Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Korean dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared, plated, and presented with high attention to quality and consistency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage orders, ingredient inventory, and the timely delivery of dishes during peak hours.
  • Assist in daily food prep, including washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
  • Monitor food stock levels and communicate supply needs to management to prevent shortages or waste.
  • Support the Head Chef with new menu rollouts and contribute ideas for menu improvements.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with peers and management, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Qualification

  • Proven experience as a line cook or similar role, preferably in a Korean or Asian cuisine restaurant.
  • Basic understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment operation.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
