Responsibility
- Consult with clients to determine makeup goals and tailor looks for weddings, events, editorial shoots, and commercial campaigns.
- Prepare skin analysis, manage sanitation, and apply makeup using a range of techniques including airbrush, traditional, and cream formulas.
- Collaborate with stylists, photographers, and clients to ensure looks align with overall vision and lighting conditions.
- Perform makeup trials, document results, and maintain client records for future bookings.
- Provide on-site makeup services for events, including bridal parties and fashion shoots, with punctual and professional service.
- Educate clients on skincare routines and product usage to enhance longevity of looks.
- Uphold studio standards for hygiene, tool sanitization, and safety protocols.
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of professional makeup artistry experience in a studio, salon, or agency environment.
- Proficiency in bridal, fashion, editorial, and evening looks; strong portfolio showcasing versatility.
- Excellent client communication, empathy, and ability to translate concepts into reality.
- Knowledge of skincare, color theory, product textures, and hygiene/sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings for events.
- Reliable transportation to studio and on-site locations; a valid work permit for the region.
- Portfolio or link to previous work required; own brushes and tools preferred.
