Pinnacle Quant Analytics is seeking a highly motivated mathematician to join our research team in Cambridge, MA. This role focuses on abstract theory and its application to data-driven modeling. You will work with a world-class team to push the boundaries of mathematical insight and translate theory into scalable solutions.

Responsibility
- Lead advanced mathematical research across number theory, algebra, and related fields to drive foundational insights.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design, implement, and validate computational models and algorithms.
- Develop rigorous proofs, conduct simulations, and advance analytical methodologies.
- Mentor graduate students and interns; present findings at internal seminars and external conferences.
- Publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to grant proposals.
- Build reproducible code and documentation using Python, MATLAB, Sage, and LaTeX.
- Contribute to curriculum development and mathematical education outreach within the university and community.
- Engage in cross-disciplinary projects that connect theory with real-world data challenges.
Qualification
- PhD in Mathematics or related field, or equivalent research experience.
- Strong background in at least two of: number theory, algebra, combinatorics, topology, or mathematical analysis.
- Proficiency in mathematical software (MATLAB, Sage, Mathematica) and programming (Python, R).
- Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and numerical methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; track record of publications is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, research-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing.
