Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations, facilities, security, and safety protocols to ensure safe, accessible experiences for visitors.
- Lead visitor services including front-of-house staff, admissions, accessibility programs, and guest satisfaction initiatives.
- Coordinate collections logistics, storage, conservation support, and exhibition support with curatorial teams.
- Manage budgeting, procurement, vendor relationships, and maintenance for facilities and exhibitions.
- Plan and supervise exhibition installation, deinstallation, and routine maintenance with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement policies on accessibility, sustainability, risk management, and emergency response.
- Recruit, train, and mentor operations staff; promote a culture of service excellence and teamwork.
- Collaborate with external partners, donors, and community organizations to support programming and fundraising goals.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies, Arts Administration, History, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of museum operations, facilities management, or administration experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of collections handling, security standards, and risk management.
- Proven budget management, procurement, and vendor negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-department collaboration abilities.
- Experience with exhibit logistics, project management, and event coordination.
- Proficiency with museum management software and data reporting; high attention to detail.
