Cityview Museum of History is seeking a dynamic Museum Operations Manager to lead daily operations, programs, and visitor experience. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on management of staff, facilities, exhibitions, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a track record of elevating visitor satisfaction, managing budgets, and collaborating with curators and educators.

Responsibility
- Oversee daily museum operations, facilities management, and security to ensure a safe, accessible guest experience.
- Lead programming and exhibition support, coordinating with curators, educators, and external partners.
- Manage budgeting, procurement, and inventory for operations, including maintenance and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop and implement visitor services strategies to improve accessibility and satisfaction metrics.
- Lead staff and volunteer teams, provide coaching, scheduling, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate fundraising and donor relations in collaboration with the development team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, accreditation standards, and professional best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies, Public Administration, History, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of museum operations, administration, or facilities management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and staff development experience.
- Strong budgeting, procurement, and vendor management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with proven project management abilities.
- Experience in educational programming, public engagement, and community partnerships.
- Knowledge of collections care and exhibit operations is a plus.
