Knowledge Computers Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Network Engineer to join our IT team in Singapore. As a Network Engineer, you will collaborate with IT and operations teams to deploy robust network solutions, monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, and participate in network modernization initiatives. You will be responsible for configuring routing and switching, IP addressing schemes, and network services to meet business needs. You will work with vendor devices from leaders such as Cisco and Juniper, manage firewalls and VPNs for secure remote access, and implement security controls and segmentation to protect critical assets.

Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Monitor network performance, diagnose issues, and implement effective resolutions to minimize downtime
- Configure and manage routing and switching protocols, IP addressing, and network services
- Manage devices from key vendors such as Cisco and Juniper; configure firewalls and VPNs for secure remote access
- Enforce network security best practices and monitor for threats; implement segmentation and access controls
- Collaborate with IT teams on projects, deployments, and incident response; provide timely updates and documentation
- Support cloud networking, SD WAN initiatives, and integration with cloud platforms
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands on experience
- Proven experience as a network engineer or similar role in a corporate environment
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network design
- Hands on experience with Cisco and or Juniper devices; familiarity with firewalls and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools and incident response
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing professional development, including course sponsorship
