Responsibility
- Lead the daily operations, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and optimize local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) for maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, identifying root causes and applying effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to support project delivery and network enhancements.
- Ensure robust network security practices are implemented, including firewall and access control management.
- Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and procedures for compliance and audit readiness.
- Plan and execute hardware/software upgrades and network expansions as required.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior IT staff, fostering knowledge-sharing.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or a related role.
- Proficient with networking technologies, protocols, and hardware (Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls).
- Familiarity with cloud networking solutions and virtual network architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
