NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Network Engineer L3 to join our ICT team in Quezon City. In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain high-performance network solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring reliability, security, and scalable growth.
As a senior contributor, you will work across LAN, WAN, data centers, and cloud integrations. You will monitor network health, troubleshoot complex incidents, optimize routing and switching, implement firewall policies, VPN configurations, and security controls. You will collaborate with NOC, security, and IT operations to meet service levels and deliver top-tier IT infrastructure services. This position emphasizes hands-on engineering, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing networks, configuring Cisco or Juniper devices, maintaining BGP/OSPF routing, VLANs, QoS, SD-WAN, VPN/IPsec, and network monitoring. You will participate in incident response, change management, capacity planning, and performance tuning. Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize scalable enterprise networks across LAN/WAN, data centers, and cloud integrations.
- Configure and manage Cisco or Juniper routers/switches, firewalls, and VPN/IPsec to meet security and performance requirements.
- Maintain routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, QoS, and network segmentation to ensure resiliency and performance.
- Monitor network health using monitoring tools, perform proactive maintenance, and lead incident triage and root cause analysis.
- Drive SD-WAN projects, cloud connectivity, and hybrid IT strategies, collaborating with NOC and security teams.
- Contribute to change management, capacity planning, and documentation; mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
- Participate in on-call rotation, deliver high-quality engineering solutions, and uphold service level agreements (SLAs).
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; 5+ years of network engineering experience (L3 preferred).
- Industry certifications such as CCNA (required) and CCNP or equivalent; hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Junos.
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, VLANs, QoS, and network security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (e.g., ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto) and VPN/IPsec; familiarity with SD-WAN is a plus.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime) and familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
